About Me

My name is Cyerra and I graduated from Stanford University in 2016 where I majored in Science, Technology, Society. I like to define my Stanford experience in two chapters. Chapter I was defined by my experience playing D-1 lacrosse as a freshman. This had long been a dream of mine so it was such an honor when I had the opportunity to sport the cardinal red. It was one of the most rewarding and challenging experiences of my life. I didn’t know it was possible to complete so many full field sprints at 6am and then return to push my body to the same grueling limits at 3pm. Truly a physical and equally mental test, but surrounded by so many amazing teammates, it was an experience I wouldn’t trade for the world.

Chapter II of my Stanford experience was sophomore-senior year where I got involved in Stanford Women in Business (SWIB), holding various roles from Finance Intern to Corporate Outreach Director and eventually, I had the privilege of serving as a Co-President. SWIB was the best thing that ever happened to me at Stanford. I was exposed to careers I had never known about, developed relationships with powerful women in the world of business who I aspired to become, and learned how to unlock potential in the young women in our organization. My involvement in SWIB motivated me to start the Stanford Black Pre-Business Mentorship Program which matched African-American undergraduates and business school students with the goal of developing a community of individuals who could support each other in achieving their goals in business.

While at Stanford, I interned at AT&T, Goldman Sachs, and attended Google Ad Camp as well as various other programs across consulting and tech in the Bay Area.

My time at Stanford equipped me to embark on a career on Wall Street and eventually pursue my passion for fashion. After graduation (7 days to be exact), I moved to New York and began a career at Goldman Sachs where I spent 3 years on various teams. While at Goldman, I started a clothing brand called Eleven Bexley and eventually left Goldman in March 2019 to begin a career in fashion at Farfetch as an E-commerce Strategy Associate. I left Farfetch in 2021 to attend Stanford Graduate School of Business and graduated in 2023 to embark on a career as a consultant at BCG. I have learned so much along the way through the incredible opportunities I have been afforded, but know the process of making the leap to the “real world” can be quite daunting. I hope to empower you as you aim to discover what sets your soul on fire! Let’s make sure you are well equipped to secure the career or internship of your dreams!
